Tour Overview
Georgia is one of the most rewarding motorcycle destinations in the world — and one of the least explored by Indian riders. The Caucasus country packs millennia of history, dramatic mountain roads, 12th-century cave monasteries, a Black Sea coastline and some of the world's oldest wine traditions into a compact, welcoming landscape that costs a fraction of Western Europe.
This Tbilisi-to-Batumi route is the perfect introduction to international motorcycle touring. Roads are well-maintained, signage is clear, and the Georgian people are extraordinarily hospitable. June brings warm days, cool mountain air at altitude and long evenings on the Black Sea Riviera. With a Honda Africa Twin or Transalp 750 beneath you, the Georgian Military Highway — one of the great mountain roads of the Caucasus — is yours to conquer. First international tour? Georgia is where to start.
